BRAD’S CATS
I’ve been painting a lot of cats recently, which is funny because I don’t even really like cats, I’m actually allergic to them! I found that out the bad way when I once fell asleep on a pillow covered in cat hair. Yvonne and Ali say I have a talent for capturing cats, even if I don’t like them that much. Mike my brother in law jokes that we are dog people and this is all Yvonne’s influence. Maybe one day I’ll pull a prank on him by filling his room with all my cat paintings.
This one is based on a silly photo of a cat yawning, but I decided to add in a second cat! Whenever I'm painting, I feel happy. Painting puts a smile on my face. This lady points to Yvonne, makes me happy too.
I also like to paint dogs too, I used to have a little Maltese Terrier his name was Bunty, he was white and fluffy. At 15 years old he was blind and deaf, but still very fast. Boy did he move! I also had a German Schnauzer, a small but very striking dog, so protective, it always barked when I pressed the doorbell. Plus a Poodle called Nicky who could jump 6 foot fences.
