BRAD AT INGLEWOOD UPMARKET

Brad recently attended Inglewood Upmarket as a stall holder, where he sold a wide range of Grumpy Bug Merchandise. The below interview recounts Brad's experience of the day!

When I was at the market I was surprised because it was bright! The musicians were very good and the coffee was very good. I saw a lot of dogs and birds. I was excited seeing the table set up and everything I made. I was in my wheelchair at the market, but it didn’t affect my day - I was very happy. Just look at me! I loved talking to people - I was happy - as you can see from the photos. Many people liked my shirts.

The most exciting part of the day was getting a custom kookaburra from a local artist at the market. She makes animals out of easter egg wrappings. She asked me which one I wanted and I said a kookaburra. She said, ‘I’ll make it and bring it over to you.’ And she did! I also bought an octopus, I like the deep purple colour.

I was tired at the end of it. It was a very long long day. I looked tired too! But it was an excellent day. It was excellent because of the people. Eric and Toby visited, so did Joe. Kayne was there too, he rocked up unexpectedly and I was surprised when he arrived! Ali introduced me to him.
