INSTALLATION OF ART BY BRAD

Tomorrow Brad’s exhibition opens at the City of Vincent Library! A solo art exhibition has been one of Brad’s major goals for three years now and it’s finally about to become a reality. This blog post details set up and installation by Brad, his team and the lovely library staff. If you’d like to help celebrate Brad’s show, please join the opening night at City of Vincent Library 6pm on Thursday 4th December.

I was very nervous at first. But when I got to the library it was good, I was happy to be there. I helped Alex and Robyn (who both work at the library) put my art up on the walls. Alex was really nice, they said that one of my Grumpy Bugs looked like their father. That was funny.

I also helped Robyn put up the frames. She was standing on really thin shelves and did a really good job. I couldn’t believe she was on the bookshelves! I was very happy seeing my art from being down on the tables to up on the wall. I thought, ‘Geez, they look good.’

I love my Orangutan painting. I think the Siamese Cats are amazing. When I saw them up, I thought, ‘Wow, they look good on the wall.’ I’m feeling nervous for the opening night, like I have a bit of weight on my shoulders. I feel proud too, of my art. I hope the opening goes perfect.

A huge thankyou to Robyn, Alex and the staff at City of Vincent Library for their hard work and support in installing this exhibition and turning Brad’s dream into a reality!
