BRAD’S 60TH BIRTHDAY PARTY
At the beginning of this year Brad celebrated his 60th birthday. The celebration was a wonderful extravaganza, with the theme of Rockstar Legends in honour of Brad’s love for rock and roll. This blog details Brad’s experience of the party.
At the end of the night, I did karaoke of my usual song, 'I Was Made for Loving You.' Mike was singing behind me. When I finished, I got a lot of applause. They all clapped for me. There was about 35 people there, all my friends. Lots of family, lots of friends. Including my friends from bowling. I couldn't see them all, there were so many.
My sister did it all, she bought my costume of Jean Simmons, my favourite musician. When I was all dressed up, I had to look away because I was scaring myself. Rita came as Dolly Parton, at first I wasn't going to let her in, the theme was Rockstars and she rocked up as a star - Dolly Parton! Bill came as Kenny Rodgers.
During the night, I had good conversations with my friends. I had a big cake, which had Jean Simmons face on it. I felt happy with everyone around me. Your spirit (Ali's) was with me too. I had a ball.
