TEAM BRAD MEETING 2026
Every year Brad holds a Team Brad Meeting with the entirety of his support crew! Run by Brad, he puts in a lot of effort to prepare topics, invitations, gifts and even a fun game. These gatherings are a wonderful opportunity for Brad to share his achievements from the past year as well as his goals to come. Following are his reflections after this year’s Easter themed meet up.
Before the meeting Toby and Claire helped me to make an invitation for Team Brad.
The team met to talk about my daily living.... things like walking club, going to physio, doing art, meals and taking care of my flat. Some of the people who came were my Support workers, the OT, the physio, my support coordinator and sister Julie and brother-in-law Mike. Toby and Claire ran the meeting and I spoke to my team as well. We all meet together so everybody knows what is important to me.
It makes me happy to see everyone together. Sometimes I feel a bit nervous because there's so many people, but I'm glad to be with them. They make my life better.
